Our Military Roots CORDA's roots lie in providing operational research to the Ministry of Defence (MoD), advising them on the cost and performance of different procurement options. CORDA also advise on the impact of procurement decisions on military effectiveness, as well as assessments of different tactics and training concepts. We continue to work with the MoD today, developing and deploying quantitative capability assessment tools, trials analysis and cost modelling. When CORDA joined BAE Systems in 1999, we began to offer those same highly sophisticated tools and operational research skills to industry.
