Organisational Structure

CORDA is operated as a separate P&L business which forms part of the Strategic Capability Solutions within the BAE Systems Group of companies. In this position CORDA is independent of any of the BAE Systems Programme Delivery Units.

CORDA's objectivity is assured through its own security and knowledge management systems and the reputation of its staff for rigorous scientific based advice, delivered over 20 years.

The CORDA capability model is derived from four main competence areas:

Project Management and Consultancy Skills
The heart of project delivery, engagement, facilitation and communication.

Scientific Analysis Skills
To structure complex questions and use appropriate techniques to analyse and justify outputs.

Domain Knowledge
To provide relevant vocabulary, advice and contextual information for a particular problem and solution space.

Enabling Technology
Use of models and tools to structure, manipulate, and visualise complex information sets.
